Dear Members,

The 2019 Alabama legislative session is over! We had some important wins this session and are especially grateful to the passage of the Human Life Protection Act by Rep. Terri Collins and the Campus Free Speech bill by Rep. Matt Fridy.

Scorecards are shown below on our priority bills and the bills we were involved in trying to stop. I would like to thank Margaret Clarke, Lu Rivera, Lori Herring, Eunie Smith, and Elaine Little who were actively involved in helping us monitor both good and bad bills working their way through the legislative process. We had a great time working together and we look forward to having an even larger team next session. We will be repeating our informative Legislative 101 seminar at the beginning of the 2020 legislative session which will help you better understand the legislative process, equip you to track bills online and give you the confidence to join our legislative team if you so choose.

Thanks for your support, Patriots!
