OUR 2025 AL LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES

While the items below are Eagle Forum of AL’s current 2025 legislative “priorities”, they are not a complete list of bills we will be supporting or opposing.

MONEY

  • Allowing Gold and Silver as Legal Tender
  • Prohibit Debanking
  • Prohibit Businesses Banning Cash

MEDICAL

  • Raise the Medical Age of Consent from 14 to 18 yrs
  • Ban Abortion Pill
  • Regulate Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBM)
  • Protect AL From WHO Mandates
  • Allow Ivermectin to Be Purchased Over the Counter Without Prescription
  • Regulate certain aspects of IVF (i.e. # of eggs and procedures for storage, etc.

PROTECTING CHILDREN

  • App Store Accountability Act
  • Safer Devices for Kids
  • Amend AL Obscenity Law

GAMBLING

  • Increase Enforcement of Anti-Gambling Laws
  • Stop Any Lottery Only/or Bills That Expand Gambling

EDUCATION ISSUES

  • Transparency In Education (Parents allowed to view curriculum)
  • Amending AL Textbook Committee Processes
  • Update AL Abstinence Act
  • General Education Act (Classical Core Curriculum in Higher Ed)

PUBLIC SAFETY

  • Prohibit ALEA From Using Chinese Drones
  • Protections against Illegal Immigration
  • Prohibit ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance, an investing principle that prioritizes these three areas.)
  • Protect Against EMP (Hardening power grid against electromagnetic pulse-EMP)

OTHERS

  • Defining Male/Female In Al Law
  • Restoring The Ten Commandments (public displays in Gov’t bldgs.)
