Why are local pharmacies closing? Learn about government regulations and barriers making it difficult for independent pharmacies to stay in business. Josh Hardin, owner of Mills Pharmacy, Inc., has become a staunch advocate for independent pharmacies and speaks out against practices like spread pricing that has a negative impact on small pharmacies. He received the Lester White Good Government Award last year for his involvement in the political process and improving service and education to patients while building effective relationships with elected government officials. Let’s not lose small independent pharmacies who genuinely care about their customers to publicly traded companies whose primary concern is their stock price.
