This month, Jasper EFA Action Group will be showing the video by Les Bernal, “Don’t Gamble With Alabama’s Future”. We expect that the Gambling lobby will again try to push legislation through our State for legalized gambling and a lottery. Understanding the implications and consequences of this issue is critical to getting people motivated to fight this powerful lobby. We want to be prepared to take swift action if/when this bill drops.
We will also show the video from the recent EF Policy Conference by Emma Waters, “Understanding the Complexities of IVF”, with a Zoom follow up Q&A with Mrs. Waters. We believe the legislature will introduce a bill at some point this year to regulate certain aspects of IVF and we need to be educated enough on the subject to understand the pros and cons of any legislation.
