Sabra Barnett, a hometown hero and visionary will speak this month on “Turning Our Hearts Toward Home”. She will focus on the issues that are adversely affecting our county.
In Walker County, we all see the need for positive change that will reverse the trend of more poverty, more substance dependency, more joblessness, and more crime. Attempting to improve our business districts without addressing our outlying neighborhoods produces LIMITED success in many ways. In response, Sabra is uniquely talented in networking with other organizations and finding available resources for tackling these problems.
