Speaker: Heidi Evensen – Human Trafficking Survivor
Child trafficking is happening in Alabama, as shown by recent cases and Heidi’s personal experience as a survivor. Now an advocate and speaker, Heidi supports survivors through education, advocacy, and trauma-informed care. She is dedicated to helping survivors heal, be heard, and regain their voice, while also working toward stronger anti-trafficking laws. Her message encourages others to learn, get involved, and take action against this terrible war.
