Becky Gerritson serves as Executive Director of Alabama Eagle Forum, where she champions conservative values through strategic grassroots advocacy. Her journey began in 2009 when she and her husband founded the Wetumpka TEA Party, which quickly became Alabama’s largest and most active Tea Party organization. In 2013, she captured national attention with her powerful congressional testimony exposing Obama’s IRS targeting of TEA Party groups.
She has since held key leadership roles with the Foundation for Liberty and American Greatness (FLAG), Grassroots for Victory USA, ParentalRights.org, and Alabama’s Stop Common Core Task Force. Becky also worked as a national media correspondent for B!G Voices Media and, in 2016, ran for U.S. Congress in Alabama’s Second District.
Recognized for her influence and tenacity, Becky has earned praise from major conservative voices like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Fox Business’ Stuart Varney and Sarah Palin. Her accolades include AL.com’s 20 Most Influential (2015), Heritage Action’s Firewall for Freedom Award (2016), Yellowhammer’s Power and Influence List (2017), and AL Today’s 32 Powerful Alabamians (2021).
Her passion for liberty is rooted in her faith and deep love for her family. She and her husband Eric have been married 33 years and are the proud grandparents of five grandsons.
