This session we are expecting bills to be introduced that if passed will fundamentally transform our state, including universal school choice and predatory gambling.

Leadership's Priority: Predatory Gambling
House leadership is kicking off the session with a comprehensive gambling bill. It should be filed today, assigned to a committee tomorrow and is expected to be in committee on Wednesday! We have not read the details as of the publishing of this post but we have heard that it contains 3 problematic provisions:
- Allows for TEN Class III casinos (We currently don’t have any Class III casinos.)
- Allows online gambling from a cell phone or computer
- Creates a Lottery
